Location: Burton upon Trent, Staffs | No this is just rain water, on the phone to him now and he says its all gone now. Road is now open.
He just said there was a tractor picking up the kids from the school.
There is a lot of mess on the roads and gravel. Homes have been flooded. |

Location: Wimbledon, SW London, UK. | Some serious flash flooding - hardly surprising given the fact that the slow moving intense wrap around passed over Thatcham. Quite remarkable that its all gone down now! |

| Hi Steve,
I am attempting to collect images, videos and personal stories of the floods to create an archive for the Thatcham Historical Society (www.thatchamhistoricalsociety.org.uk). Firstly we would like to keep a record for future generations, but also would like to document the event.
As such, would you/your brother be willing to allow us to have a copy of your images/videos/stories, place them in our archive and use in future publication. We will of course acknowledge the photographer/author/etc.
Regards
Nick
