Here's Holmes on Jan 13/14th very near Algol. In fact, I suspect the faint outer coma already is over the star.

Managed to catch it after 22.00 UT tonight when the sky cleared better so I missed the dark period earlier. Moon low in NE and milky cirrostratus clouds destroying the trans. Couldn't see Holmes in binos or with naked eye but I picked it up on camera. Two images here. First at ISO800 30 sec at 200mm approx and the second at ISO1600 and 250mm approx.
