Left Achintee at 11.45 arrived summit 2.45,a bit early for the sunrise which as it turned out was a bit of a disappointment, clear skies so plenty of light from the moon for the walk up .Left the summit around 7 before the hoards arrived and the temp got too high for a leisurely stroll down the mountain, passing hundreds on their way up, which took me 3 hours again .Hazy skies so not on of my better days for pics but thoroughly enjoyed walk made more enjoyable by the lack of bodies on the hill at night.

View from the summit at 3 in the morning.................

  Half hour after Sunrise...................

 The Summit at 5.30................

 From the Summit.......

The Summit around 6........

 Summit Snow........

Summit view.....I like this one.

Looking back towards the Summit at around 8.....

Heading home around 9 with Glen Nevis in background....taken near "half way loch".......

Superb! Great to see some snow too! You're right about getting out when no-one else is, it's similar down here in the New Forest. Dawn is just the best time.
