Extreme South-East of Norway = 25.5°C

The record high minimum temperature in Northern Norway is 24.7 °C set at Grøtøy/Steigen (68 °N!) on 1/7/1972.
I just saw this....68N and almost 25C minimum? That is amazing!!!

Keep in mind that it's an absolute record... and maybe resulting of a Foehn effect (don't know how the surroundings of Grotoy are), but yeah, it's still impressive. ^^

Yes, but even more impressive is that Makkaur fyr (lighthouse) at 71 °N! has recorded a minimum temperature of 24.2 °C (on 30/7/1960). As MorganeLanesle points to, its some kind of foehn effect that gives northern (and western) Norway these extremely high minimum temperatures.
