One of the best sunsets of the year has just happened this evening. 360° of bright pink at one stage, as if the sky was on fire.  Enjoy:

Exactly the same here Paul, everyone was commenting on it.. sky looked as if it was on fire.. lovely tints of red, pinks, oranges, greens and golds. I wonder if the smoke in the atmosphere was affecting it?

Me too. I fell asleep in the armchair and woke up to a blood red glow throughout the house. Off into the car to the M5 motorway bridge up the road.

Very good Paul and John.... I like the ones from the bridge. I may as well stick mine on this thread in a mo as they are of the same thing...

Our turn down here, Dave,

Paul's last two are similar to my late ones. I took them between 5.15 - 5.45.

Superb shots - all of them.

I was out and about at sunset tonight and I cursed myself for not having my camera with me.

It's been a cracker of a day here.

I'm so glad you've all posted your pics of tonight's sunset up.... I went outsode to take some as it was the most spectacular sunset I've seen in a long time but my camera batteries were flat so I didn't get any!

Was a corker from here too. Shame I didn't take my cameras on the fishing trip we had!

Most interesting cloudscape I've seen in weeks while the weather's been so non-commital!

Cheers - John
