mrfizz  Inside pane of glass on conservatory door just went 'boom'. Cracked to hell. Thought a bird flew into it, but it's the inside pane of glass. Another expense.

Happened to me once too, just a tiny flaw in the glass that eventually weakens under stress.

Within a year of having new D/G installed every pane of glass had cracked on my relative's semi. It was installed by idiots who shoe-horned in every casement.

The glazier was mystified. Possibly cold then warm caused a weak spot to go. Anyways, getting fixed the weekend.
