N-W extra is a subscription service which includes a range of specialised forecasts (storms and gardening being 2 of them) a number of GFS based features, including an array of charts that centre on the UK and Europe, SST forecasts, forecast Skew-T's for every county in the Uk and more. All of the GFS features and forecasts also take advantage of the 0.5 degree datasets now available. We also have a 15 minute UK radar with regional zooms, animation, 24 hour archive, overlay system and also a central european radar too. Another feature of the area is our GFS custom tool, it allows you to create custom maps using upto 4 of the 250+ parameters of the GFS for anywhere in the world. It really is very powerful and should be an exceptionally useful feature for anyone either looking to learn or already knowledgable in meteorology. We have a variety of subscription options: 1 month - £9.49 3 months - £21.99 6 months - £41.99 12 months - £71.99 Radar plus - £40 a year (this includes all of the radar based features plus GFS custom only) We also have an introductory offer of a 3 month subscription for £18.98. It's a huge pleasure to be able to announce that Michael Fish (MBE DSc) has joined forces with netweather.tv to work on various new projects. It goes without saying that everyone here at netweather is hugely excited at the prospect of working with Michael and we hope that the new features and forecasts that he is involved in will prove to be both informative and enjoyable for all of our users. More details on some of the new features that Michael Fish will be working on will be released over the coming weeks.

Very pleased to announce that the beta version of the new V3 radar viewer is now available to netweather extra subscribers.

New features include, integrated data overlays onto the radar, animated custom zooms, zoom to postcodes, cumulative rainfall maps, customisable animation speeds and an experimental future radar which allows you to view the forecast track of cells 1 hour ahead + more.

As we're currently in the beta phase of this development, all feedback, bug reports and suggestions will be much appreciated, as we will then take these onboard to create the final product during the coming weeks. If you're already a subscriber you can access the new beta radar viewer by logging in to netweather extra and following the link to it.

For new subscribers, various options are available - with a discount for Ukww members available (details here). Further details on netweather extra are available via this page.

Perfect Paul, many thanks. Seems to work well here, I like the rainfall accumulation facility, very useful, as well as the overlays. Good improvement.

The 9 month CFS charts haven't seemed to updated for several days now. Stuck on Oct 19th 0Z run. Is there a problem with the feed or is it my PC?
