Two new excellent articles on two significant weather events of 2006 by Dave Jameson can be found now on the WW site

The first on the cold spell of Feb 27th-March 7th is just here

The second on the disruptive snowfall event of March 11th-12th is here.

The main significant weather event page covering events from 2004-2006 can be found just here

Many thanks are due to Dave Jameson for taking the time to pen these articles.

If you have any photos that might be used to illustrate these events I'd be very pleased to hear from you.

A warmer period now in April looks likely... will the magic 20C be breached? A cooler NWly may well return for a time by the middle of next week though it seems...

A fairly pleasant and warm end to April looks likely, though early May now looks unsettled, at least for time

A rather showery but reasonably warm start to the w/e in the south, chillier in the north, but becoming quite unsettled in many places by early next week
