I have been looking round at the different packages available. Seems to be £5 a month is about the norm.

Then I had a glance on the auction site and found this item 9715345272

It don't seem a bad package for a years worth of use at £10.50 as a one off payment for a whole year. I will probably find out different.

 I will let you know how I get on with them. Purchased mine today

10quid.co.uk do some good hosting but so does Tim from Meteorologica. His is setup specifically for weather websites and the support is excellent. I also use 10quid for other sites I use - good domain names and 10 quid (+VAT) per year for standard hosting. PHP Perl and the rest are all supported. Great place to get your site hosted and 24/7 telephone support. Okay, it's more expensive than £10/year (full hosting starts at just over £4.50 a month) but you are paying for quality of service and a lot of other features you won't get with cheaper hosting packages.

Sorry if I caused any offence by posting the link to the auction site.

Its my fault for not using the search feature and checking on recommended web space sites.

So far though, it has been good service. I have my domain name, control panel access and a silly grin because i have no idea what any of it does.

Now its the hard work time for building the basics of a home page etc
