Does any one know the main ACARS frequency or frequencies for the UK?

I think the ones I have ( 131.725 & 136.900 ) maybe out of date as there seems to be no data transmision.

Cheers and thanks

Thanks - I'll be up early tomorrow.

I think I was tuned in at wrong time of day and added to which, I see there's new European frequencies which aren't listed on the websites that I use.

131.725 Primary

131.525 Secondary

136.750

131.850

are the active ones in the UK. You'll find that at different times of the day, the secondary might be more active than the primary. 136.750 has limited amount of usage and 131.850 is becomming more active as the year goes on

I Think you will find that 131.725 is by far the busiest closely followed by 131.825 for all Aer Lingus, EasyJet, Air Canada, NorthWest Airlines amongst others. 131.525 is then next. The others as listed above are much less busy.

There are also some webservers where you can watch in realtime located here http://www.acarsd.org/webservers.html

Dean,
I am a keen monitor, more so Military than Civil and have been for many years on HF, VHF and UHF (Used to dabble in SATCOM also).
you will find in my part of the country sometimes the secondary is actually busier at certain times of the day, otherwise i wouldnt of posted it.
136.750 seems to have more traffic on it related to just one or two airlines of which KLM and Continental have been the most active here aswell as Iberia...

I decode Acars with WACARS and ACARSD, and also ALE, and HF ACARS (HF-DL), aswell as other transmissions related and unrelated to Aviation...

Hi All

A good frequency for Acars messages in the NorthWest of England and Ireland is 131.825.
I have only just come across this frequency and it is very active.

Cheers Phil [y]
