Thought an index of sites to get plotted current conditions from might be useful:

XCWeather plots METARS and selected private weather stations on a map. Available for the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
AWEKAS plots private weather station data on maps globally. Useful as it shows personal reports in addition to automated obs.
Weather Underground now has personal weather station data plotted over Google Maps... simply search for a location on the right, or use the zoom and drag tools to navigate. Probably the largest source of private weather station data atm. [red]**RECOMMENDED **[/red]
WEDAAL plots private weather station data on several maps across Europe.

Of course, there are also plotted lists of weather stations:

The one I normally use for cross reference is the UK pages of the NOAA site...

And of course the National physics laboratory online barometer, it's obviously not a suitable reference for my location, but it has good historical data. And for anyone living nearby is the ideal reference.
