The 2006 chase season was one filled with mixed fortunes for the teams as the weather patterns did not always cooperate with their plans. Needless to say though, each team made the most of their time in the Plains and sent back some fantastic images from their time chasing. This thread captures just a handful of those memorable pictures that encapsulate why our teams travel thousands of miles in pursuit of such awe inspiring meteorological sights and remind us of just how beautiful nature can be.

The first chase team to arrive on April 30th were  Matt Hatton, Paul Sherman, Ozzie and Peter Holmes. Throughout their trip they managed to photograph some incredible storms
