This sounds like a daft question, but is it a trustworthy site, I don't want to get a crap load of import charges and be squeeded out of money

I didn't look for US copies!

I'm not sure if there may be slight difference between US and European issues?  That was the impression I got looking on Amazon (there is a copy with 'not for sale in the US' emblazoned across the cover.

However,as far as buying from Abebooks is concerned I've always had very good service.  Expect about a week for delivery from the USA.  There's no import duty for low value items (I've only ordered one book via Abebooks from the US but it arrived no probs).  You won't get charged any more than the book price plus shipping costs which as Stuart says is about £5 in total.  Obviously the copy is second hand but at the price looks worth getting.

If you have any problems getting your book from that site, I have a copy here at home. Give me a shout if you want one and we'll negotiate ;)
