Posted before but can't find it...

Sferics (lightning plot) from UKMO ATD data
Rainfall radar, latest satellite image loop, synoptic plots of UK and Atlantic and UK wind and temp data from XC Weather (hover over station for temp etc)

All in one place, auto refreshes every few minutes so you can leave it open in a browser tab and it'll always have the latest info.

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to have a link to this alongside the other 'Observations' links at the top of the page? Or a separate 'button' at the top 'UKWW Live'? ???

Dave, I'm a big fan of this page and have bookmarked, but I'd like to make a suggestion for improvement. The sferics data at the top of the page (ATD data via the Icelandic Met site, I believe)shows sferics daily for the last 5 days (today's in red circles). Did you know that the Icelandic Met also have the same data displayed on a different timeframe i.e. for the last 24 hours, colour-coded into 3-hour segments? See here:

http://andvari.vedur.../i_dag_na.html?

I think that the 3-hourly data would make a useful addition to the page (possibly more helpful for live tracking of "in-progress" convective outbreaks). Perhaps you could chop both the 3-hourly and daily feeds in half vertically i.e. show only the UK and Europe coverage on the right half of each map (we could all probably live without the knowledge of sferics that occurred mid-Atlantic or over Greenland) and tile them vertically on the page? Probably need to include the key for each map as well somewhere (particularly the 3-hourly map).

Otherwise, great page [y]

I tried chopping but it didn't work, and have changed it for the 24hr image with 3 hrly circles, and have included a decent enough key for timescale :)
