This year, I went for a blight-resistant Maincrop - Cara, having suffered a few losses due to blight last summer. So far - so good. Watching them very carefully though - this warm & rather humid weather can encourage the blight. Just hoping they do OK through to lifting-time in a few weeks.

Cheers - John

John, you will have to tell me what you think of Cara, I did them last year and wasn't all that impressed, but I might have been put off by the wire worm infestation they seemed to attract. I went for Valour this year, I can't remember whether they are supposed to be blight resistant so will be keeping an eye on them as you say in this humid weather.
