A number of our teams have captured an amazingly photogenic tornado near Campo, Colorado. A typical example of the High Plains magic! The first set of images are courtesy of Ian Miller.

amazing pics from both teams, its great to be able to see two different perspectives from the same tornado.

Last night was one of the best virtual chases I've ever had. The feed/stream of Mike Phelps and Andy Gabrielson was fantastic, a total of 7 Tornados which were classic tubes for grassland prairies. Noticed Paul & the team were viewing from the reverse side which looked superb, the highlight being when the Tornado crossed the road between them and then the cell gave a Beautiful Double Rainbow. Great night that lasted until 3a.m before I had to hit the sack. Considering it was a slight risk day it turned out to be a very memorable one for many reasons. 666

Those are fantastic pics. Is that Paul and Bren in that pic? I guess it is with the Eye on the Sky Logo.

Yep, that's them (well that is Matt Clarke, a member of TORRO, next to Paul while Bren was taking the photo) - a great last day of the trip capture!!

What an amazing sight this was. It's great to see the torn from two completely opposite angles too (the final three photos in the opening post are actually my pics and Ian's are the first three). If only I'd known Ian was just over the hill I would have popped and said hello. Although there was the small matter of that tornado being in the way....

It was amazing - the last images in the bit where Lorraine said they were Ian M's pics are actually Brens! :) (with the EOTS logo on)

Storm chaser Andy Gabrielson has filmed a tornado in the US state of Colorado from only 50 yards (45m) away.
Mr Gabrielson captured video footage of the tornado during the three-hour storm on Monday.
No injuries were reported from the tornado, which knocked down electricity poles and produced tennis ball-sized hailstones.

I was tracking with Andy Gabrielson and Mike Phelps on severe studios, Andy was one side while Mike was the other as the Tornado crossed the road, then suddenly a Double Rainbow appeared as if to say Surprise Surprise then if that all wasn't enough another Tornado appeared giving the chase a total of 7 Tornadoes throughout the 3 hour chase. It has to be the Best ever night of Virtual chasing on UKWW and hopefully more to follow!
