Mild all round yesterday although London enjoyed the best temperatures. Ogimet had Camborne down as a Max of 15.4C which is clearly incorrect and must be a coding error, its highest hourly max was 12.1C so i have gone with a max of 12.4C instead. Met-office did not recognise it either, they have Bristol Filton down as the warmest for the South West with 14.9C

Bit of a different look to the top 2 for yesterday with The Solent and Jersey fronting the table, the latter is challenging its sister Island Guernsey for 3rd place - will probably happen after today

Warm day especially for the South East yesterday. St James Park looks likely to overtake Plymouth over the next couple of days and i would of thought would be in 6th place by a weeks time at least. Jersey as expected gone up to 3rd ahead of Guernsey

Here is the last 4 days worth, the first 4 days of April and London and the SE have the upper hand. Today especially so, look how cold the normally very mild St Mary`s was!

Here is the last 3 days worth. Plymouth had the highest max in the UK today, at least from the synop stations. St James Park initially overtook Plymouth but today its bounced back and retaken its 6th place by the narrowest of margins, but to be fair its only a matter of time before the London site leapfrogs everyone!

London and the SE having the best temps over the last couple of days. St James Park attempting to re-overtake Plymouth again.

Here are the tables for the last 4 days and St James Park has finally re-taken 6th place from Plymouth, on the 14th it went ahead by 0.02C but Plymouth thought back yesterday and the difference is down to 0.01C.

Well i guess this extended cool weather is helping St Mary`s if nothing else! Camborne really does not like a northerly flow and has been the coldest maximum temperature in this group 7 times out of the last 12 days.

The second table are all the temps sofar for April direct from my spreadsheet, as we can see the highest temp so far this month is a miserable 16.0C enjoyed by Gravesend on the 2nd

Last 2 days, sees the mean temp of 9.07C oddly for both days for this group. Jersey is knocking on the door for 2nd place, currently held by Portland
