The Channel Islands and the London area doing best in this rubbish weather, with the SW coming off worse

Here is the last 5 days worth, yesterday showed up a few oddities, Jersey had the warmest mean temperature of the group, whilst its neighbour Guernsey was the coldest. Plymouth had the highest maximum temperature but equalled the groups coldest temperature, and thirdly, Gravesend went from warmest maximum on the 1st to yesterday having the coldest maximum

Much better yesterday for the west country and Channel Islands with London failing to get into double figures.

Again, better from the west country. St James Park had the coldest maximum of the group albeit (along with Northolt) this doesnt happen often, its the 4th time in 246 days! The last being on the 6th March. St Mary`s 13.9C would you believe equals the highest temperature for there this year

Until yesterday the west country was doing best over the last few days. Yesterday St Mary`s which is used to having the warmest minimum of the group more often than not, had the coldest minimum, the first time this has happened since 3nd November and for only the 3rd time since i started this on September 1st

The last couple of days shows London and the neighbour Gravesend having springlike temperatures, in fact they had warmer minimums than the south west had maximums

Once again London and Gravesend doing the best with the west country and Channel Islands propping up the table. St James Park has gone up one place at the expense of Guernsey, so its now in 5th, and i expect over the next couple of days it will take 4th spot off of St Catherine`s Point.

St James Park now gone up to 4th thats two places up in 3 days, with with Portland clearly in its sights, with 3 and a half months left though can it overcome St Mary`s, the 2010/2011 winner?

LOL I do tend to have this habit of putting the kiss of death on things. St Catherines Point has retaken 4th from St James Park and managed to hold onto it yesterday

St James Park has retaken 4th spot from St Catherines Point and this time has kept it and has now got a o.o2C lead over the Isle of Wight station. London and the SE doing much better than the rest

Just spent over an hour doing all the data from 21st May to 31st May, below is the table up until 31st May, will try and bring all this up to date over the coming few days. As you can see St James Park now up two places to 2nd and is gaining on St Marys, if we look at the 11 day difference (2nd column)

Well that data to 31st May strongly suggests that St James Park will overhaul St Mary's by the time the table is fully up-to-date, although we did have a couple of SE cold plunges in June that might just delay the inevitable.

Yep a few coldish nights in the SE, has delayed the inevitable i think that St James Park will take the lead in a round 40 days from now so i am going with 1st August 2012

Here is all the up to date figures was surprised to see Plymouth overtake Guernsey, it must be said! Posted Image

Pretty pants start to July, especially for the west country. Heathrow has leap frogged Plymouth by the narrowest of margins, but will now keep climbing the chart, St James Park looks odds on to win this, this year but can Heathrow over throw St Mary`s too?

EDIT:: Please note the table below is for the 2nd July and not the 1st as stated

Here is the data for the last couple of days. Yesterday saw close to average temps for London and Gravesend, but the rest struggling with maximums a couple of degrees below average for early July
