Wouldn't it be amazing to see reds across the board sometimethis week, especially after the nondescript summer we have had.

Some very mild minimums for the end of September ranging from 13.5C to 16.4C. London having a mean approaching 20C, incredible really. Gravesend max of 24.0C made it the warmest place in the UK yesterday.

A good day for Plymouth today, coming out the warmest from this group for the mainland - anyway. Not so good for St Mary`s who this time last year was leading the pack!

Gravesend max of 24.3C was let down by a sub 10C minimum! Guernsey up one place to 8th ahead of Portland.

Incredible day, with both Guernsey and Jersey registering a daily mean way over 20C. Plymouth has gone up to 10th ahead of poor St Mary`s, (Think her title may well be in jeopardy) Apart from the amazing max temps, Guernsey`s minimum of 17.7C 3 days from October has got to be equally has impressive. London was let down by its minimums compared to coastal areas.

Guernsey, Jersey, Plymouth and Solent getting all reds

Just Jersey and the Solent getting all reds yesterday with Plymouth and Culdrose having all blues, despite it being warm pretty much everywhere in this group. Both St James Pk and Heathrow having a daily mean well above 20C again!

Gravesend has a mean maximum since September 1st of over 22.5C, incredible!

A big cool down on max temps yesterday but with very mild minimums we still ended up with above average mean temperatures.

Gravesend stopped recording @ 1900hrs yesterday so i have no data for there, if its down for more than 3 days will have to consider using another station from the SE, as long as its on Ogimet i can retrieve all of the data back to September 1st.

Northolt has jumped up 2 places to 6th and Guernsey Airport has dropped two places to 8th.

Data below for today 5th October 2011

Last year was unseasonably cold and this year its unseasonably warm, whether the SE can keep this up through winter is another matter, but its hardly normal weather, again.

Actually felt cold here in Plymouth today max temp 14C but for the most part around 12.5C in a force 5 making it feel much cooler. A general cool down again everywhere.

Still no Gravesend - we may need a replacement any ideas? Or maybe just stick with the 12. Charlwood is no good too cooler minimums, was thinking maybe Shoeburyness? Thoughts?

It felt colder today than the 16 suggest, but the wind was up. First truly autumnal feeling day so far this autumn.

This is more like it! lol, A result for the west country and seaside resorts and the Channel Islands, with London and Gravesend feeling the chill with all blues. Plymouth finally gets a couple of reds and was indeed the warmest in terms of maximum from this group yesterday.

Back to normal with London and Gravesend taking the top spots yesterday unlike the day before on Saturday. Northolt has gone up one to 7th ahead of Guernsey Airport.

Some really warm minimums in the SE, with Gravesend having a minimum of 16.3C which was warmer than Jersey, St Mary`s, Guernsey, Camborne and Culdrose`s Maximum!!!

These sort of minimums are even slightly higher than the normal October maximum for this time in October.

Todays figures below for the 10th

And so the "summer" continues.

This year it has been fairly stable with temps near the 20 mark for so many months now beginning back in March I think.

Not summery at all here for the last 5 days, cloudy and miserable with mizzle at times. Northolt and Solent both up one place. London and the SE still enjoying warm max and mins.
