If you can't login, just click the forgotten password link http://www.ukweather...ection=lostpass and the system will send you a new one.
Also, clearing all cookied and internet cache and restarting your machine will help.

Type in your username (not email address) and click proceed.
Go to your email account where, shortly, an email should appear from the forum. Click the link at bottom.
Enter and re-enter your new password, when you proceed you might hit a "500 server error". Don't worry.
Retype www.ukweatherworld.co.uk in your browser address bar and follow the forum sign-up link, enter your profile name/username and new password.
It worked for me, hope it works for everyone!

Its worth saying that this version is only v3.1.4 and there are a lot of upgrades we can install in the coming weeks & months. They are now up to version 3.2.2 with further added functionality, bells & whistles. What makes this good is that its a living forum that's still being developed, our old forum was gradually becoming defunct as all development work stopped on it some years ago .. so we really had to take the plunge and finally do the changeover.

Most people should be able to login. The conversion software from MegaBBS to IP Board we paid for included a custom script for converting the various parts - posts, members, forums etc
but the part to convert members was missing a file that converts all of your group membership permissions over, so if you were in more than 1 group, i.e Frouk and a member and registered to post in climate, it only put you down on the new forum
as a Frouk, and therefore as you weren't a member, couldn't sign in.
I've now edited all these groups manually, so you should be able to access.

If you email me your username, or if you're not sure, you're email, and you give me a new password for you, I can reset your account. I will endeavour to respond to all within an hour or so.
