Yes, same for me John, this was actually quicker than replying to Dave in the comments section.

Edit - I post that and suddenly it's fine!? Posted Image

I had some PC issues yesterday and when resolved I needed to login to UKww, however, I forgot my password. Attempted to go though the password reset routines, yet upon submit I got an error page. Further attempts failed, both via FF and IE.

Trying to report this using the send comments page http://www.ukweather...es/Contact.aspx, the attempt to send failed, bringing up a database error message.

This morning, however, it seems that FF 'remembered' my login details so therefore was able to login successfully. But why did the reset process not work ?

I sent an email to forum@ukweatherworls.co.uk explaining my issues this morning explaining my woes....obviously this no longer needs any action.

As per this post in the new forum guidelines thread, once you've received a new password the attempt to enter it into the board results in an error page, whereupon you just need to redirect your browser to the forum list to get in (in other words, it worked at that point). Instead of returning to the password input page, you just needed to go straight to the forums - which is, in effect, what you did this morning. FF had accepted the new password and saved it in the cookie from that point (the error message). Posted Image

I think we just have some "thanks for that" pages missing.
