If you click "Use full editor" below the text entry box, you should see on the left where to upload attachements.

Ahh, sorry, that's because this is a Management area, members haven't got permission to upload in here - will sort that in about 5 mins.

I'll stick it on 20 for now, but see what others suggest. As for at the bottom, it'd be pretty much pointless there don't you agree?
I'll take a look at the mods group settings for pm's and friends now....

Friends and pm's are enabled for moderators in the settings.

Hey Dave,

PM and Friend icons remain AWOL. Toggled pips, deleted cookies, re-logged still MIA. Went to PM via Login block to send this. Rejected, said to provide address via contacts list. Scoured page' no contacts list.

Tried uploding in General Weather Chat as advised. managed 6 photos at 620kb and it rejected the 7th pic as too big even though it was only 90kb.

Im not sure if this is the correct place to post but Im using Firefox ( gave up trying to access with IE9 )and the fonts are playing havoc.

Initially I could barely see or read the posts, so changed my font size in tools/options etc. Not sure why but as Im reading through various topics and posts there seems to be a myriad of different text sizes and shades etc. Some miniscule and feint, others huge and in bold. Its making for very difficult and uncomfortable reading to be honest. I find I am having to go back and forth constantly changing font sizes.

I never experienced anything like this on the old forum using IE9. I realise it maybe something Im doing wrong, or is it ? Surely all texts would appear the same if I were to read them on the same setting ? I tried Ian's suggestion of Ctrl+ scroll mouse which works to an extent but not perfect. Can anyone help please ?

Cheers.

NB: As im typing this the letters are appearing on my screen about 10 feet tall !!

Having occasional 403 - permission denied errors. Had one earlier today and one this evening when trying to make a reply to a second thread. Checked was still logged in, when "back" and pressed reply again and this time it worked

Can someone please check out this post and the problem Lee is having, its saying his total global amount is 1mb and his reached his limit so he cannot upload anymore images. Mine says unlimited. Surely 1mb is wrong?

I've triple checked all the settings for the moderator group you're in and there is nothing to suggest that is the cause of your problems. Other moderators don't have them afaik? More than likely a browser/cache issue your end?

Hey Dave,

I can see and interact with everyone elses functions, except messanger,... Hence, I doubt it is a group issue or interface. This would seem to be an account issue. I wiil come in on Vista - IE8 and confirm it is or is not the interface and leave a note here.

Hi Dave, i've put of extra subs in your profile, namely Frouk and member - that should do the trick :)

Can you let me know of the outcome, cheers

Hey Dave,

Initially it scared the bejesus out of me as I couldn't log in again. So I applied the forgot password and came back in. No change. I finished the IE9 upgrade and came back in with the prior fforgot email and attempted the if it doesn't work with the ID and Val code. That did not work and dumped me out with a 500 code, I changed the password with this one ot insure that was not the conflict. So I am in clean with Vista and IE9 though with no Firend or messanger capability still.

This may be a case of pitch the old and join anew. I would hate that, however, it appears the crossover has corrupted my account somehow when I was trying pecking around earlier trying to get in, how I do not know... It is a rare bunny that knocks me on my keister... Your call...

I see a few people have had issues with the internal email. I cannot even find where to click for email . Any suggestions? (serious ones of course lol :) )

You might be having problems because, by default, existing members appear to have PMs turned off. If that's the case the fix is detailed here, if not then guess it'll need Dave Clark to sort it.
