Forum stickies

Just wondering, do we need 20 sticky threads? You have to scroll 10 miles to find the threads of interest which are "current". Its the same with other boards on the forum too.

Hi Rich, this is something we'll have a look at once we get everything running smoothly. There is certainly more space used by posts etc than with the old software so you have to scroll miles to see the whole page.

I've been thinking the same thing, for the Site Rules, etc thread. Partly because it takes a while to get to where the two most important threads (ATM) are ie New forum- quick hints and tips, Technical issues thread- please note any issues here and partly because some relate to the old forum software. Maybe "stickying" those two thread would bring them to the top before a full review?

In the meantime maybe just use the newest threads url?

Lol, I only found that after I'd scrolled through all the threads to find the one containing the link. :P
It is a useful feature though :)

If you click the last post in the left columnwhen viewing forums it will take you to the last unread post. Agree most forums need a sticky tidy up.
