Exeter Airport has moved up one place to 18th ahead of Castlederg which was the only place from this group that didn`t have an air frost yesterday.

Big difference in minimum temperatures yesterday compared to the day before, for example Hurn Airport near Bournemouth had a minimum of -11C on the 4th and yesterday its low was 2.1C, some 13.1C warmer.

This is Farnborough`s 15th consecutive air frost. Pershore almost matched it but had a minimum of 0.0C on the 5th

Here is the last 4 days of Icebox data, no air frosts on the 3rd. Topcliffe doing rathyer well with the 2nd highest amount of air frosts after Aboyne

Here is the last 4 icebox days from the 6th to 12th March, with the exception of Aboyne the English stations have been colder than Scotland, and yesterdays 8.9C minimum @ Altnaharra was the mildest minimum in the UK!!

No air frosts for the 13th and 14th but since then at least one from the group as activated Icebox Britain from the 15th to 20th inclusive

Here is the last 10 days worth including this mornings, from tomorrow this trial comes to an end when we have the first day without a frost amongst this group of 20. Given the forecast it looks like this thread may last a few days yet!
Topcliffe has gone up 2 places to 2nd.

Well as mentioned on my first post, this project would end then the first air frost free day occurred after April 1st, this happened on the 7th with none of the group having an air frost so here endeth the project and below is the final table. Aboyne clear winners, but Topcliffe done very well in coming 2nd
