Anyway, the storm passed right overhead and as it emerged from the other side of the condo I managed a few from the releative safety of my balcony. It is now almost 11pm and the storm is rumbling away in the distance with the odd flash of lightning.

A very nice storm which started around 7pm but at that time was a long way off. Got some distant lightning pics which can be seen below. Not all that good but I have added them just so's you get the general idea. It then started to rain so I retreated to my apartment. Just as well, cos I think the condo got struck. Was in livingroom when there was a blinding flash and at the same time it sounded like somebody had let a shotgun off next to my ears. Made me jump lol. (just a little bit of course). I will get back up to the roof tomorrow and check out the lightning conductors
