Another very photogenic sunset tonight.

Confession time -- 4A is the same as 4, but with the mid point level adjusted a lot.
The others have had a minor level adjust, generally from 1.00 to 0.75

I use Gimp, and 4A has had the mid point level reduced from 1.00 to 0.25

Is this acceptable within this forum, especially with regard to the monthly competition ?
I don't want to break any rules or conventions.

Thanks a lot

Tony

Lovely set with great colours - no.3 I think is my personal favourite, I like the wispy cirrus in it :)

Stunning features and colours, nicely captured. Posted Image

I don't think there's anything wrong with modifying saturation, contrasts, sharpness, touching up blemishes, etc as far as rules are concerned. I was taught to expose for highlights and adjust the contrasts later.

Nice set of pics. With a lot of mine I do adjust them slightly if required, but only to bring out on the photo what I actually saw in real life. Most of the time I take weather pics from the condo and can have them on the puter within minutes of taking them. Then, from my puter I can see though the large patio windows and check them against what I see outside. I dont think it's cheating :)
edit. I hate typos lol
