I remember we had a thread like this for last year but cannot locate it, anyway if any member would like to contribute please feel free. My last single digit maximum was on the 7th March (9.0C) a run so far of 243 days and counting!

My last single digit maximum was March 16 2011, with a maximum of 6.6c.

18th March, at 6.7 °C, so 233 days and counting (today so far only just nudges over 10 °C though!).

My last single digit maxima was,eh well today with 7.4C!,the tenth SDM so far this autumn the others have been..
October 6th................8.0C
October 12th...............8.9C
October 17th...............9.3C
October 18th...............7.3C
October 19th...............6.2C
October 20th...............9.0C
October 26th...............9.2C
November 1st...............8.9C
November 5th...............8.0C

Found this old thread which isn't quite the same thing but might bring back some nostalgia for the 2010/11 winter! I'd be quite happy if there is no need to revive it...

Run here of double digit maxima lasted 215 days between March 18th and October 18th. Oct 19th and today are the only single digit maxima so far this Autumn.

Temp is slowly rising here and now to 9.7c - will it continue to rise or will we get our first single figure max of the autumn? Stay tuned!

Coldest day since March 16th for me. Might yet make double digits though. Now 8.9C and still creeping upwards.

for me its 207 days from 13th April (9.7 max) to 7th November (7.6 Max) - unless the temperature creeps up overnight!

And it hit 10.1c at 19.15 so no single figure max today

(although had I still been recording data to 18z then it would have been)

Yesterday was our highest max digits in Buxton peaking at (just) above 10.1'c. Today has been a high of 7.8'c.
