Maxed out at around 9.5c yesterday around midnight, so thats my double digit run ended. I suspect many in the south and south west will see double digits runs into December. The birds will be nesting if it doesn't get cold soon

March 16th was my last single digit maximum (which was 6.6c) until today.
Maximum today reached 7.2c at 1332 UTC, so that's my run ended.

Had two sub 10c's now but still no lower than 9.5c down could argue its still not 10c if you round up (or is that cheating)

No airfrost though, down to 1.1c morning of 23/11/11.

Probably another close run thing this Sunday, a frost free November looks a possibity. I wonder what the latest ever widespread airfrost for central southern England is. So far its only been prone spots that have got below zero

2 air frosts this month.
-0.1C on 6th and -0.4C on 7th.

Just noticed that I've never had a Nov without a single digit maximum (back to 2003) - the latest day that occurred was the 14th in 2005. So a record whatever happens the next 2 days .....

Same here Andy, back to 2000 and double digit max today as well so the run continues

Me neither (goes back to 1996) 1997 i had 2, with the coldest being 9.2C and I also had 2 in 2002 with the lowest being 9.0C, my current run continues into December! 268 days and counting.......

5th December 2011

Today I finally had my first sub 10C maximum (8.2C) since 7th March, I make that a record for my site, and all in all 273 Days with temperatures of 10C or more.

Still awaiting my first air frost though! A record year on that front.
