Snow on the Beacons every day since the last update.

Quite a contrast today, the Carmarthen Fan in the west with snow yet pen-y-fan with little new.

Some more from today, 4th March. It snowed for a few hours around dawn, though only settled above 1500' . a: taken around 10z, b & c taken around 14z & d: taken around sunset and shows melt since (a) .... some snow showers followed in the evening.

I hope it was good... nice views of Langorse Lake?

Probably not the last bit of snow for the Beacons this side of summer judging by the models atm.

30th April 2012.

It Snowed yesterday for a few hours at 1000' but I had no chance of seeing the mountain tops with the low cloud. Some snow left today on Pen y Fan.

Well, I eat my hat - you did talk about the possibility of snow. It was only about 4 degrees here in all that rain, so in the end it comes as no surprise. :)

Yes, surprising how easy it is to forget.

Maybe the last for this season.

Moderate/Heavy Snow showers this morning gave a brief covering above 1600' - 2000' or so.

Thanks Michael & Sherrie. Taking photos 3 & 4 the snow starts to get visible at around 1400' but later on yesterday this dropped to around 1100'. :)
