Along the western facing cliff under the ridge of the Black Mountains behind Talgarth there were larger patches , perhaps 500m or so.

A light covering of snow above 1800' this morning....nearly all gone by dusk.

There a still some sizable pockets of snow on the western flank of the Black Mountains but can't see any left on pen y fan or more to the west.

Obviously pretty high up there Andy... how regularly do you see complete snow cover on the mountains at this time of year?

Not often but not unusual in a PM flow. See my post in this thread from this very day last year! :D
