General evolution: A front will cross the northern UK that will bring snow showers to northern parts of Scotland.
Snow is expected across the warning area mainly on higher ground (above 250m). The snow is expected to be heaviest in the west where accumulations of 5-10cm are possible over 200m with more on higher ground. Travel conditions may be further worsened as strong winds with gusts up to 55kts cause localised blizzard conditions or drifting of snow.
