April 2012 has gone a long way towards reducing the rainfall deficit of the year so far, but still well below normal: total to 30th April = 169.4 mm ( 77% ).

Jan - April total 185.5mm
(Jan 43.8mm, Feb 21.6mm, Mar 18.4mm, Apr 101.7mm)

Site long term average 169.3mm, so the wet April took us to slightly above ave.

Revised figure because more rain fell until midnight is 296.5 mm, more rain fell in April than the the first 3 months however i am still below average, now on 84.6% of average, a deficit of just 55 mm.

Jan = 49.2mm (55.8%)
Feb = 27.0mm (41.5%)
Mar = 26.4mm (46.5%)
Apr = 142.7mm (272.3%)

2012 so far = 245.3mm (93.8%)

211.8mm to the end of April (Pretty much bang on average) with a further 11.0mm today.

319.2mm in Coalville now, 25% of which has fallen in the last week! That's already 116% of average up to the end of May. Seem to be copping more than our fair share this year!

A total of 181mm for the first four months of the year. This is just 67% of the 1981-2010 average for my area, so still in deficit territory (despite a healthy 12.2mm for April 30th).

Still running at a deficit for 2012 up to 31st May, 215.1 mm against the avearge of 265.4 mm which is 81%.

265.1mm for the year to date. That's 10mm more than we had in the whole of July 2007 and still below the 61-90 ave for the first 6 months of the year (292.4mm)

As far as April-June goes, 2007 gave 277.9mm - despite April being only 7.6mm. This year A-M-J (to date) is 191mm
