Hi all,
I'm still thinking of going for a wireless weather station but a thought crossed my mind before I take the plunge.Would anyone know how high the pole with the anenometer and rain guage etc, should be off the ground and also how far away should it be from obstacles,i.e trees, walls etc for a proper reading.

Cheers

Have a read of this guidance for AWS owners http://www.rmets.org...s/aws-guide.pdf

It is of course quite stringent and an unattainable "blue sky" scenario for most of us with small urban gardens though!
It will give you an idea though of how you might do the best within your home and garden.
