Much milder now with none of the Capitals in my list receiving an ice day. Fairly dry too with just Podgorica in Montenegro recording any snow - just 1 cm.

This is the first time we have seen a temperature over 20C in Europe since the 7th and is only the 4th time so far this month

For the first time in several days, Reykjavik is not the warmest capital in my list. The cold has relented a bit but still many ice days in the north and east. Warsaw somehow has an extra 11cm of snow depth added from a trace so is probably not a single day's change. So Sarajevo probably more reliable at a +4cm snow depth in the 24 hours.

Just 10 Capitals out of 42 with Ice days then - compared to 28 a few days ago at the height of the deep freeze.

I noticed that the Scottish capital is frequently in the top of the ranking recently. This is fine!
