General evolution: An active area with two close cold fronts will pass through Scotland early on Saturday bringing with it a risk of snow to parts of Scotland. Further snow showers are then expected later into the day as the colder air mass moves south with a NWly wind.
Rain in the morning will turn to snow as the colder air moves south. Later into the day further snow showers are likely across northern areas of Scotland. Snow accumulations of up to 5cm are expected across parts of Scotland, especially in western and north western areas, with more over higher ground.
Please listen to local radio/television broadcasts for up to date information on travel conditions.
UKww will monitor this watch and update/upgrade when necessary.
