Palacefields, Runcorn, 11:00

A cold, blustery night with showers, which dawned bright - noted temp. around dawn before I fell asleep again: 0.9C around dawn. Previously cloudless sky but Cu beginning to bubble up. Earlier, cars and roofs had a covering what looked to be small hail or graupel. Welsh hills capped with white, visibility >20 miles. Looking at Rocksavage power station, seems to be a Northerly breeze. Hard surfaces drying after precipitation during the night, some standing water might have frozen.
