I listened to this live as it happened. My girlfriend had just gone upstairs to get ready for bed - I called her back down to listen LOL.

What Alex meant to say was bucket loads of sun. Unfortunately he replaced the s with another letter that I shall not mention. Thankfully he didn't add anything else on the end. :o

Very unfortunate anyway because you have to listen very carefully not to hear a certain word being said.

I wonder perhaps whether the mods should change the 4 asterix's to 3?

Ah that whats happened yes.. agreed Chris.. i not sure why the t was added by the news reports .. he doesnt end it with one! I feel sorry for forecasters when this happens, its live and pretty much unscripted unlike most autocued tv that presenters read out these days..

The word is in the ear of the listener,...which is why I don't know what the fuss is about. :huh: :rolleyes:

So what actually happened was that just prior to going on air Alex and his colleagues had been discussing who their favourite Man City striker was ....... ;)
