Great Blizzards of February 1995/96?

Does anybody remember getting two snowstorms in the middle of February 1995 or 1996? I have great pictures of this event that came from a SE direction and hit Central Scotland but can't identify how old I am in the pictures. All i remember is having 10 days off school.:D

Definitely 1996

Two very different causes. The first was on 26-27 January 1996 and associated with a cold pool moving west in a very cold easterly airflow. The second, and more severe, on 5-6 February as an Atlantic frontal system stalled over western areas with strong v cold SE winds ahead of it. The snowfall was widespread but Dumfries-shire and Cumbria were especially severely hit

Thanks for the information it still ranks as the worst blizzards i have seen in 26 years in Central Scotland.
