Cahore (Kilmcichael House), Co. Wexford, Republic of Ireland, reached 18.0 deg. C. on 23rd February 2012, which would put it in place No. 3 above - see http://www.met.ie/cl...tins/feb12.pdf; although this is not stated here, suprisingly, this is within 0.1 deg. C. of the highest February temperature in Ireland of 18.1 deg. C.

This also states "The maximum temperature 17.6°C at Piltown (Kildalton Agr.College), Co. Kilkenny also on the 23rd was the highest recorded at the site during February since 1985 (27 years). I am not aware of very high February temperatures in Irleland in 1985 and it may merely be that this was the year that the station opened, in which case "since records began" should have been added. As the Monthly Weather Bulletin on the Met Eireann website only goes back to April 1986 at http://www.met.ie/cl...lletin-1986.asp, it is not possible to check this.

Ashford (Cronykeery), Co. Wicklow, also reached 17.4 deg. C. on 23rd February, which would also, along with Piltown, put in the top 10 above.
