Sounded creepy hearing those looming out of the fog.

Typical it started clearing as I headed back down the forest:

Interesting shots - I know the area well [y] But always been clear when I've been there :D

Those turbines are noisy at the best of times, can just imagine them in the mist! I wonder how the maintenance crews know which ones need restarting when it's like that?

Last time I went there it was clear blue skies too.

Your thread

My thread doesn't have the photos attached as it was an even older thread. But here's one from then ( 2006 I think )

Those are quite creepy and atmospheric picures and almost like something from a horror film of old.

I really must make more time to look at, and comment on, pictures posted on UkWW as so many are just so good to look at like the above.

Nice ones Howard :) I like the turbines and the mist clearing in the last two...all very atmospheric.

Nice shots of the fog moving Howard - not been down there awhile. I take it The Arch is back in order, after its bash & emergency repairs a few years back.

Cheers - John

Yeah the Arch looks fine, like the geo info board down at Cwmystwyth btw. Your handiwork I guess - it had your www under it.
