A week away today................and into the light evenings!

TORRO SPRING CONFERENCE 2012

The TORRO Annual Spring Conference will be held on Saturday 31st March 2012 at the Oxford Brookes University: Headington Campus, Gipsy Lane, Oxford, OX3 0BP.
Entry is £5.00 for TORRO members and £10.00 for non-members.
Presentations will include:
Annual Reviews
2011 Photographic Highlights
Site Investigations & Reports from Ireland
Observations and Modelling of Severe Events
Breighton Tornado Site Report
Photographing Weather

No problem Andy,it's always better to book but I'm sure room willbe found for any who turn up on the day. Unfortunately I can'tn make it again....must be about 3 years since I made one but will get there hopefully this Autumn !

Good to see quite a few people here will be at the conference on Sat. I'll be there as usual as well. Always good to go to if anyone else is thinking of going.

It's a date in my diary that runs a bit like this .... " Torro conference. MORNING: leave around 7:30. Mac D's breakfast at Oxford 9-9:30. MORNING-AFTERNOON Talky talky weather storms etc (rest of day). LATE AFTERNOON-EVENING.Pub, beer, dinner. EVENING. Drive home, stop at Krispy Kremes in Enfield to pick up some fresh ones off the machine. Arrive home, sleep". Repeat twice a year lol . It would appear my day has evolved around the consumption of crap lol

That does sound a lot like US chasing as well Pete, I remember pining for fruit after a week. Posted Image
