A few showers round about, all missing Evesham - as usual! Quite gusty at times though

2.6'c in Buxton with the Cat&Fiddle cam showing signs of the white stuff, just hail at lower levels currently. Were also now past the cloud shield with the sun starting to come out, so only showers is bringing the wintry precip down to ground level.

Rain's changed to a rain and snow mix here now. Very light and not collecting at the moment.

Moderate rain since 1100. Now sleet mixed in with it. Wet and dull.
Current (1600) reading is 9.1mm, with a rain rate of 7.2mm/hr at 1213 UTC.
Wettest day of the year so far for me.

At 1630 UTC, it's now more rain than sleet. Air temp has dropped all afternoon, and the wind has increased.

Snowing here (again) for the past 10 minutes, went ominously dark for a short time but starting to clear up again now.

A bit of sleetiness when the temp dropped to 3.3 °C, but just rain here really and very gloomy now.

Well I ended up with 20.2mm yesterday, some 6.6mm short of Hurn's total which is quite a difference given I'm only a few miles away.

Still yesterday was not only the wettest day of the year it added 25% to the years total taking me up to 80.8mm YTD.
