According to NW radar there is a cell between Manchester and Liverpool that has produced some sferics, I can see it north of me and it looks fairly meaty.

Heard one rumble about 15-20mins ago to my SE. Intense cell centred around Leigh and Newton-le-Willows area at the time, now heading towards Bolton.

recent sferics just off the North Yorkshire coast, wonder if there is any rotation associated with that cell...
