Hi all

First decent formation of some Mammatus clouds today off the NW flank of a nice little cell drifting NE across Northumberland :)
A nice rainbow formed further north but for a short time only

It looks like a convective cloud in a Polar Maritime air mass. Is that what it was?

Aye, well, front came through off the Atlantic, don't know if it came from the polar regions
