Nigel forecast tornadoes that day I seem to recall.

Yes, an advisory before convection kicked off with tornadoes to T1 possible, then as storms began to fire, a tornado watch with T3 possible - it was a good call considering the amount of uncertainty a little earlier in the day.

I remember being on holiday and not paying any attention to it, and dearly hoping a forecast had been issued when seeing the evening news!
