Quite dense in places around here. Visibility down to 50m in some spots on my journey to work, mainly over higher ground. Visibility around 150m generally.

Lots of fog from Worcester to Wellesbourne this morning, down to 50m in the Arrow valley, and around the A46 bypass of Stratford

Some incredibly thick fog earlier this morning driving to the gym before work about 6.30am. Visibility was down generally 80-100metres for seeing dipped headlights appearing in on-coming traffic, probably closer to 50metres for seeing people.

That said, skies have almost cleared and the temperature is rising. Slight chance somewhere localised should get to 16-18C today.

Lol, BBC forecast for London on the website is for 20C today - Heathrow currently 6C! Looks like a bit of bust on that.

Well St James Park and Hampstead both reported 11.4 °C at 11.00z, so maybe not quite that absurd ;)

Unlike recent days the temperature is racing now skies have cleared. Up 3c in 40 mins, London should be close to 20c IMO..

Quite a difference in fog clearancce from Heathrow compared to Central/East London. Visibility reports show London City cleared totally more or less an hour before Heathrow which must have had shallow fog as it's reported 2.7 hours sunshine since 09.00
