Mid Wales Anvil 17/03/12 A fine specimen...

Looking west around 6PM, first two taken from Pen Y Bont common, last one from E/W border. Radar suggests this was over Aberystwyth at the time .

A fine one indeed Howard. We had some nice wispy cirrus and a bit of cumulus, but nothing as dramatic as that :)

Great to see an anvil, haven't seen one up here for a long time. First one is my favourite one. :)
