Temperature Watch - Overnight Into Mon 19th March 2012

Could be a cool/cold night in places. BBC forecasting lows of -5°C in the Welsh Marches.

Having a look at the temp graph over the last 10 years for here it hasn't been below -4°C this late in the year.

Quite damp on the ground when I got home an hour ago but clear skies and lots of salt on the pavements - currently only down to 2.3c but I guess could be quite icy come the morning.

Just been out for a walk and it has become damp out there under crystal clear skies.

My air temp at 2030Z is 4.1c and the grass temp has dipped to -0.6c before rising slightly.

Low of 1.7 °C earlier with a touch of "ground" frost on the garage roof.
