Highest at 10Z was Herstmonceux on 15.1C but i havent been through the climat stations.. looks like we could well see 20C beaten again today & maybe the old money 70F

Edit 06X GFS has a 19C over the above area today. so 21C certainly very possible given recent trends.. havent looked at the PT's to ascertain potential, has anyone else?

Think its 'odds on' to at least reach 21°C somewhere official.

I'm currently up to 12.8°C after a misty start

Well conditions are perfect today for my AWS to record a very high temperature for March, slack or winds from the East or ENE seem to lead to the biggest over readings on my station. Already I'm up to 17.4C.

Infact temperatures has risen exactly 6C in 49minutes since 10am.

Here at 11.00z it's 16.6 °C. Probably underventilated in the garden though due to very light winds from the east.

New site daily record high for 23rd March here now, 18.2 °C beating the old record set only last year. Could my March record of 20.9 °C be under threat today?

Charlwood reporting 20.6c at 13z. Maybe a tad suspicious given that's 2c ahead of anywhere else?

Well if it's an accurate reading there has to be a chance today's daily record of 22.2c is under threat?

Equalled my alltime site record for March with 20.9 °C earlier, reading no doubt around 1°C too high compared to official site specs. Think it has peaked for today.

Possible that Charlwood hit 21 °C in between hours.

Just reached 20.2C (and still rising) despite some high cloud moving in a while ago.

Laura Tobin reported earlier that 21°C has already been reached today but didn't specify (14:29)
