I had no idea he was attempting it, let alone that any manned craft would.

The phrase "I can't imagine the pressure he's under right now" doesn't really do it justice! Posted Image

Edit - reading this it seems he's the third person to reach the bottom, but the first to do it solo. He's as deep as a cruising airliner is high, 35k ft!
